Behind the Writing of Threading Trouble

Are any of your characters based on real people you know?

My characters are not based on people I know, that being said my female main character is becoming more like me with every new story.

Tell us about character traits that were fun or hard for you to include in the book.

At first it was hard to make my characters imperfect, but the more they become realistic and true to life, the more flaws and unusual traits they have the better.

What special knowledge or research was required to write this book?

I’m a professional quilter, and as much as there isn’t as much hobby quilting in this one—Charlotte’s arc of having her own beautiful workshop, and becoming an ambassador for the sewing machine company are both a nod to the professional quilters in my reader base.
