Behind the Writing of Leaf of Faith

Were there any alternate endings you considered?

I considered turning one of the victims into a ghost to continue to guide Isabella, but I decided not to. I thought that the murders wouldn’t have as much of an impact if she could continue to communicate with the victims.

Which of the side characters would you love to explore more, or turn into a main character in another series?

Definitely Grandma! She’s such a hoot to write and I’d love to see what she was like when she was younger. She’d be in her 20s in 1968 and writing about Grandma as a hippy sounds like fun.

What special knowledge or research was required to write this book?

I always look up ingredients I have Isabella add to potions because I want to make sure I don’t put anything harmful in them. I’d feel awful if someone recreated a potion I made up (seriously – never do this!) and it was dangerous. Amazon Read Now
