There will be no more chances.
There will be no more ways to escape.
“Sarah did it again! Summernight is an immersive, thrilling, fast paced fantasy novel. I can’t wait read more in this world. While many books you read having you living the world through description via the characters, Summernight takes vivid descriptions a step further. The detailed way that Marielle experiences the world gave me a deeper connection to this story.
Marielle & Tamerlan lives intertwine with the hope and fear of their fates, and it’s an amazing ride. The question of who will succeed and who will die flows through out the entire novel, leaving me on the edge of my seat until the very end.
The legends that the people of the city celebrate(or fear) are well thought out and portrayed perfectly through the eyes of the characters. They each have their own voice/characteristics/theme, and it is apparent that everyone in the city believes (or doesn’t believe) as it suits their lives. I was def. skeptical throughout the whole story of what was fact, and what was myth turned religion/tradition.
This book is a must read. You will love the adventure, and fully engulfing descriptions of this story.” ★★★★★ See on Goodreads

“My favorite character almost died and I about cried. Through out this book I couldn’t tell who was on the ‘good team’ and who had hidden motives, I kept thinking at any moment Kealin was going to get messed over why someone within their travels. My favorite aspect of Kealin is his honesty. Even when he isn’t sure of his path, or who to trust, he just speaks in real talk. No pleasantries, just true as he knows it. All of the characters in these books are well flushed out, with complex motives. True to the authors nature, no one is “safe” not even the dead. The series as a whole is a wild ride, and hard to put down to adult. So glad the author is prolific, because I need more of this world.” ★★★★★ See on Goodreads
