The First Baseman’s Grumpy Fan:
A Closed Door Baseball Romance
by Rosalie Pease

Book 1 of 1: Home Run Hearts

Are some rules are meant to be broken?

Finn Nixon has been rewriting the rules of baseball since he started playing the game, becoming a social media sensation thanks to his dancing and tricks on the field.

A foul ball sends him on a literal collision course with Gale Frost, granddaughter of the team’s founder. Although the chemistry between them is undeniable, Gale has one rule: no dating ball players.

Unimpressed by Finn’s fun-loving antics, she’s concerned about his influence on the team her family spent decades building.

As the team’s charity gala approaches, Finn volunteers to help prove to Gale he’s more than the goofball she’s seen in his viral videos. Despite her reservations, Finn’s dedication to the event begins to crack the grumpy facade around her heart.

But when Gale’s thrust into the spotlight she’s tried so hard to avoid, she’s forced to choose between upholding her family’s legacy and her growing attraction to Finn.

Will Gale throw out her rule book and risk love for a chance at a home run romance, or will Finn strike out in the game of love?

Loving the Game: A Fake Relationship, Opposites Attract Baseball Romance
by Ginny Sterling

He’s baseball’s biggest heartthrob, and she cleans toilets.
Drake Walker had it all – females, fame, and fortune but none of it was real. The money could disappear, the attention could wane overnight, and all the women that surrounded him were only there for one thing – to be able to say they were dating an All-Star baseball player.

It was a pathetic, lonely life, and he was ready for a change.

Steffi was shocked to see the baseball player barge into her world in the most inconspicuous of places ever – a public bathroom. Now, with a plunger for a scepter, and a dustpan for a shield, the unexpected ‘Team’ emerges victorious from pursuit… only to make a bargain neither could have ever imagined.

(very fake) relationship.

Every girl dreams of a luxurious life, a handsome prince professing his love, and a kingdom at her feet, but her ‘diamond’ had bases, her ‘love story’ was full of foul balls, and her ‘prince‘ was the one wearing white (pants).

What do you do when falling in love isn’t quite the fairytale you expected?

The Curveball
by Megan Cousins

4.3 out of 5 stars 170 ratings 4.0 on Goodreads 330 ratings
Book 1 of 4: Wild Pitches

Penelope:
I love baseball. And I get paid to talk about it. Sure, I’m behind the scenes of the best baseball talk show on television, but that’s where I’m comfortable. Where I’m safe. And then Jake Hutchinson showed up and I started dreaming again. Dreaming of so much more than being behind the scenes. He reminded me of why I got into this business in the first place. I was determined to put my head down and do my work, and not get involved…but Jake is the curveball I never saw coming.

Jake:
I was determined to come in and make a good first impression. Though, soliciting a free meal from my producer probably wasn’t the way to do that. And then she started talking about the game I love, the game I played, and I was hooked. I could listen to her talk about baseball for the rest of my life. I can’t get involved with my producer, can I? With her talent she won’t be a producer for much longer, and what’s life without a little risk, right?

The Curveball is a closed-door, friends to lovers, workplace romance featuring a baseball loving heroine and former baseball player hero. The Curveball is very much a love letter to baseball and the bonds created when it is shared. The Curveball also features #OwnVoices Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and chronic pain representation, written by an author who lives with PCOS and the associated chronic pain.

So what’s a guy to do except hire a fake girlfriend and go on pretend dates and then ask her to marry him in front of millions of fans?

In hindsight, I shouldn’t have hired my agent’s little sister.

And I definitely shouldn’t have kissed her, or taken her to meet my family, or envisioned an actual life with her.

Three strikes I’m out. Now she wants nothing to do with me and there’s nothing fake about how I feel.

I’m in love with my best friend’s sister.

Zach Hiller was an ace pitcher for the New York Yankees until the day he lost everything in a catastrophe that he now remembers painfully as “The Curveball Incident”. How is he supposed to stay depressed, not to mention incognito, when this beautiful, stubborn, and funny woman is tearing down all his defenses?

Emma has it all, including a brand-new fiancé, degree, and opportunity to explore every corner of Ireland for a summer. But all it takes is one chance encounter with a mysterious and brooding bartender from Texas to make her start questioning everything she thought she knew about herself. Together they have enough problems to fill an ocean. So why is it impossible to even consider spending the summer apart?

Fight for your dreams, even if it means breaking a few rules.

“A wonderful baseball story.” – Miranda Kenneally, author of Catching Jordan
“This one’s sure to be a home run with readers!” – Katy Upperman, author of Kissing Max Holden

Cupcake Curveball

4.7 out of 5 stars 10 ratings
Book 1 of 2: Trinity Falls Tigers

Tyler

I was finally healed from the injury that almost ended my career before it began and would finally get the chance to play minor league ball. I went out with my new roommates on my first night in town and met the most stunning woman. We had an amazing night, but when I woke up the next morning, she was gone. I was determined to concentrate on my dream of playing professional baseball, but she was always in the back of my mind, and I’d never stop looking for her.

Molly

Thanks to the inheritance from my grandparents, I could finally follow my dreams of opening my own bakery. After finding the perfect location in a new town, near a brand new baseball stadium, I moved right into the apartment above the shop. On my first night out, I met the most amazing guy. I couldn’t stop thinking about his green eyes or our immediate connection. Little did I know how that one night would change my life forever. This book is a duet and so readers are aware this book does end in a cliffhanger. It will have an HEA at the end of book two. Also, so readers are aware, this is a closed-door book so there is very little to no spice. There are some actions behind the scenes (accidental pre-marital pregnancy from a one-night stand) from the characters that may be inappropriate for young readers. The Author (who is also a parent) would recommend those over the age of 14 to read this book but it is at a parent’s discretion.

There is also an 18+ version of the same book available, for those interested. It is called Batter Up! by Sasha McCallen (same author, just a different pen name). It is an open-door, spicier version of this same book.
